One of the only airlines flying on all six populated continents of the world, British Airways (BA) is the flagship carrier of the United Kingdom, with its primary operating base based at London Heathrow Airport. Fleet

British Airways has a wide and vast fleet and is the operator with the biggest Boeing 747-400 fleet. British Airways provides services in Airbus (A318-100, A319-100, A320-200, A321-200, A380-800) and Boeing versions (747-400, 767-300ER, 777-200, 777-200ER, 777-300ER, 787-9, 787-9, 787-10). British Airways owns a total of 273 aircraft and has a range of new types to substitute the other aircraft in its fleet.

Travel Class

FIRST CLASS - First Class is the most lavish of British Airways' travel classes. From a luxurious personal suite to exclusive spa services and world-class meals, First Class means that passengers arrive in style at their destination. First Class is only available on long-haul trips. Passengers flying from LHR and JFK have access to The Concorde Space, BA's most spacious departure lounge. The lounge provides passengers maximum privacy with a private cabin and full service of the waiter.

BUSINESS CLASS - British Airways Business Class offers customers with an outstanding variety of facilities to guarantee that they get the most comfortable flight possible. The amenities on board depend on whether the flight is long-haul or short-haul. For long-haul "Club World" trips, travelers would be able to enjoy the finest night's sleep on their BA flights. Passengers flying around Europe on "Club Europe" BA flights are promised more space on board to help them relax on their European flight.

PREMIUM ECONOMY - The British Airways Premium Economy Service is branded World Traveler Plus which is only available on medium-haul and long-haul flights. Passengers earn a quilt and a blanket and enjoy wonderful in-flight entertainment with a variety of movies and shows. Passengers will enjoy the same excellent food as the Economy Class, along with alcoholic drinks and mock-ups added to the Luxury Economy bar menu. Each traveler is supplied with an amenity package that uses products made from recycled plastic bottles. The kits included eyeshade, gloves, pen, toothbrush, and toothpaste and lip balm from Scaramouch & Fandango.

ECONOMY CLASS - The British Airways Economy Class depends depending on whether the flights are short-haul or long-haul.

In-Flight Amenities

British Airways acknowledges the difference that a decent meal can bring to your travel experience and believes in tasting your taste buds with a variety of cuisines. If you want to drink classical English tea or taste exotic wines, the choice is yours. The airline delivers an excellent in-flight entertainment system that contains the new Hollywood blockbusters, soundtrack albums and TV shows for your participation. As far as relaxing is concerned, just sit back and enjoy the fun. Seats are built for your convenience and come with features such as adequate legroom, headrest, reclining features and many more.

Baggage Allowance

British Airways luggage allowance shall give each passenger 1 piece of hand baggage and either a laptop bag or a handbag. Hand luggage must not exceed 56 x 45 x 25cm for a maximum of 23kg and must be able to fit into the overhead bin. During take-off and landing, your private object must be able to be stashed below the seat in front of you.

In the case of checked luggage allocation, Economy World travelers are allowed 1 bag weighing not more than 23kg. World Traveler plus 2 bags weighing not more than 23kg each are allowed. Company class travelers are allowed 2 bags weighing not more than 32kg each and, eventually, First Class travelers are allowed 3 bags weighing not more than 32kg each. Overweight bags are paid based on the travel place and destination, but the price of overweight bags varies from $85 USD to $120 USD, so be mindful of how large your bags are when you go to the airport.

Passengers can pay for additional baggage either at the airport or online, with rates at the airport being higher than when passengers book online. Extra baggage rates vary on the departure location and destination of your flight, but vary from $50 USD to $160 USD when your luggage is booked electronically and $55 USD to $185 USD when your baggage is charged at the airport check-in.

Check-in at the Airport
